"Freeware"? It says shareware and $38 is the price of the fully working (i.e. svae & export) version.

Does anyone remember the US College (I think) that was working
on an SU plug-in for this type of work. They posted here some
time back but I don't think they have come back with any further

They are working on it and have a (public) beta forum. Now it's in the secound round of beta already.
