Quality hard copy prints from Sketchup views
-
I am putting together a show off printed portfolio of my work.
Can anyone advise me what's the best export format out of Sketchup jpg, png, tiff, etc, that will give me the best quality prints without jaggies and the like.
Thank you - much appreciation for all your past help. -
Basically what you need to do is export very large to a non-lossy format (PNG or TIFF are good choices) and then resize down to the size you need.
If your end up exporting pics bigger than 3000x3000 you'll likely need to turn of anti-aliasing as well, as this can cause SU to crash.
You can find all these options in file->export->2d graphic and then click the little options button in the bottom right.

Thank you

Just a quick addition - for better results, try editing your styles so you have thinner edge lines, I find it gives it a slightly more professional look.
