Once I download a component, is there a way to modify it without erasing the part one wants to change? For example, a part I downloaded has a 7/16" dia. x 1" stud sticking out the top. I would like to change the stud diameter to 1/2". Is there a way to do that without erasing the existing stud and putting in a new stud in its place?
      Thanks,

Double clicking on a component will allow you to edit it. See if the stud inside is another component or group - you can further edit these nested components, too. Once within its context, the geometry there "behaves" just like any geometry; you can make changes, add, delete geometry etc.
