The 'have your say' bit of the bbc news wensite (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/talking_point/default.stm)
Its not the idea it jsut the collection of small mided people hwo dont seem to be able to think of anything to say beyond 'gordon clown', puppet government and 'what a load of bull'

lol. I get REALLY pissed off by Vista's "you need permission to do this" pop-ups. What they add to safety, is a complete mistery to me. The boys at Microsoft HQ must've thought: "You know what? Let's add a couple of random hoops for our customers to jump through."
Another annoyance: people who don't turn the volume of their mp3 players down in buses. I really do not want to hear sugary r 'n b in the morning (I never do, for that matter). The same goes for cheap techno. Yuck.
Which brings me to the most dreaded of species: teenagers. Oh, how I hate them. Pull those pants up! Lift your feet! Learn proper Dutch!
-
Dont get me strated on the vista pop ups thing, Ive never had one pop up for anything that was actually harmful, and even if one did i doubt id recognise it because im so used to pressing "allow" now.
And the worst tihng aobut it: it pops up twice fi i try and create a folder in a program folder. Twice! whats the point, am i going to change my mind in the 5 seconds between them?

I really hate it that a lot of the latest BMW owners think they are gods.
That pissed me off even tonight when A BMW cut me off while driving into a parking lot (I had to hit the brakes hard).
Some minutes later,When I parked my Volkswagen Polo (actually my girlfriends car) in a parking space which the same shiny BMW in front of me seemed to have overlooked, he drove backwards, jumped out of the car and called me 'gestampten boer', which means something like 'red neck farmboy'. I kept silent but kept the space.
Still angry about the 'attitude' though.Another thing I experience daily is that (some) BMW drivers (or Range Rover or any other freaking snob car) can't stand it when they are overtaken by smaller cars and they put the foot on the gas when you pass them. Fuckers!
By the way, I drive a BMW myself....except it's an old not so shiny one (a 1995 318tds compact. Crappy but it serves the goal )
Now, that felt good , thanks.

Ha, reminds me of one of Dave Ramsey's tag lines at the beginning of each of his shows...
"Where the paid off home mortgage replaces the BMW as the status symbol of choice."
-
I really hate SCF deprivation

I think it was Remus who touched on the subject of teenagers a while back. My favorite "things that piss me off" pertain to that catagory, even though I have 4 of them in my house right now Mine are not permited to do any of these of course.
The underwear showing with pants way too big and hanging to the mid upper thigh - I only want to see exposed underwear on Victoria's Secret models......
The complete lack of manners / etiquite (sp?) in public situations. I don't care to listen to their loud cell phone conversations with their best friend about whatever trivial thing happened to the friend at the mall earlier today - and what social consequences it might have on society.
The complete lack of please / thank you / excuse me in their vocabularies.
I could go on forever.................but I won't.

When waiting in line at fast food place, and when the person in front of you reaches the register THEN decides to look at the menu to decide what they want.
or
While waiting in the check-out line, the person at the cashier is overly social, even after they've paid.

Arey you sure you don't have Finnish ancestors?

- WIndows photo gallery- specifically "sorry, you cant edit this photo because its the wrong format" its a PNG for gods sake, its hardly an outlandish proprietary format from a company working in a cave. Id guess its probably the second most widely used format and yet they dont think its neccesary to support it (unlike every other piece of software under the sun.)
2)exams: its getting to the stage where we dont learn for the sake of learning and self betterment, we learn to pass exams. Seems like its the wrong way to do things really.

this usually happens while on my lunch break, hence i get flustered. You should move to Helsinki:
Say "Good morning" to a bus driver (or cashier, you name it), and you get the "What's so good about it?" scowl. You sit on a bench in a bus and the person sitting between you and the window starts to squirm like from an itch, without saying anything. This means "I would like to get off at the next stop, please".
All this pisses me off, even as I consider myself quite a typical Finn too...Anssi

lol. Sounds a lot like Antwerp (Belgium). Moved there 1,5 years ago. Say "thank you" to a cashier, and he/she merely gives you a blank "whatever" look. lol. Oh, I hate that city.
-
well excuse me, you teenager haters! i happen to wear pants at a normal hight, have good personal hygene (shower every morning, brush teeth consistently, ect), and have acceptable manners. and stinky, i have no idea where the "proper dutch" comment came from, but im somewhat fluent in spanish.
what pisses me off: people that hate teenagers just because they're between the ages of 13 and 19. look past the streotypes, guys!
oh, and its been calculated that a toyota prius uses about 1000 gallons of gas before it even leaves the dealer! thats because of the fule needed to make the battery. and, if compared to a car that gets a respectable 35 miles per gallon, the toyota would have to drive 100,000 miles more in order to make up for the 1000 gallon deficit.
PWND TOYOTA! ("pwnd" is teenager speak for "completely and utterly beaten", its pronounced "P-oh-nd", just incase you didnt know)

Know-it-all teenagers

Spending ages trying to work out something really, mind-numbingly-in-your-face obvious.
Prime example: i was trying to work out why i couldnt texture this cube, i was at it for a good half an hour gettign incraesingly pissed off to the point where i had to go and do something else. Came back and realised i was in 'monochrome'

another thing that pisses me off: (and i know solo has alreay said this) President Bush
and i really wish everyone would stop compltely freaking out about global warming! i mean jeez! worrying about it is only going to make it worse! why dont we all just calm down and accept that this might be a natrual fluctuation in the earth's tempature. and if thats not the case, take a chill pill and hop on your bike and get some CFLs for gods sake!
And that is exactly what George Bush wants you to do, just act like nothing is happening and drive an SUV everywhere, because we're in a war so you can have plenty of oil, so don't cut down! Whether it's a natural fluctuation or not we are contributing to it and denying that is really pissing me off.
