Am opening a file made in Sketchup 6 with Sketchup 6 pro

Hello, I have a model made in sketchup 6 and whenever i open it in sketchup 6 pro all of a sudden i have no surfaces. Not only that but from that point onwards everything appears in wireframe whether working on that model or a new one. It only returns to normal when i reinstall pro, but the problem returns as soon as i open a model made in sketchup 6.
appreciate any help

Make sure your not looking at the model in wireframe mode. view->face style->hidden with textures is the 'normal' mode.

thanks for the reply. That was the first thing i looked for, and yes it still remains in wireframe even though it is in shaded with textures mode.

Might also be worth checking the styles menu (window->styles) as somethignmight have gone astray there. Other than that i cant really think what it might be
