Max resolution exporting image

Hi folks
I need to export an image VERY URGENT in the highest possible resolution.

The highes image I could export is 3700 pixels x ...

When trying to export 4000 x ... the gives me a notification that he made a 'writing error'.

1/ Is it possible to export in a higher resolution?
2/ Does it make a difference expporting in JPG, PNG,...
3/ Does it make a difference eporting from a MAC4Gb or WINxp2GB?

I succeded in exporting an image with the maximum theoretical resolution ever possible with SU!!!

9999 x 5587 pixels

Done with @ latest MBP 4 Gb
