Hey everyone.

I would just like to say hi and i am so glad that i found somwhere that can get help if need.I just found sketchup yesterday and i love the fact that it is so simple,I am mainly useing Kerkythea to render but the models from SU tend to have a low Poly count, Does anyone know how to increase the Polygon count.
Thanks and i cant wait to share my creations with everyone

hello and welcome.
if you want to increase the poly count, the easiest way is by typing in the number of edges you want in to the VCB, this is when your using the circle and arc tools btw.
I look forard to seeing some of your work

Thank you,
I was looking through the forum and saw your post with all your rendering's, They are very impressive. What Renderer do you use -
I wouldnt quite call them impressive, more
I mostly use indigo for close up stuff, and every now and then i use podium.

Your models are simple but the texturing and lighting you use is what stands out the most to me.
One more question, Since i just got SU I dont realy know the UI that well..Where exactly do i go(what is the VCB?)to Increase the Poly Count? Thanks again Remus

The VCB is in the bottom right corner of your screen. You do not need to click in it, just choose circle for example then type your number of required sides.
