A couple of experiments. Just working through various ideas.

Another front entry sketch. After making this I took a walk around my neighborhood and noticed that almost all front entries have a step up from the porch floor to the house floor. I assume this is mostly to keep out water. Are there other reasons?

nn, thanks for your comments! I checked out Michael Reynolds. I'm aiming for something a little more mainstream, but I'm certainly in tune with his unconventional approach. 😄

A screen porch. Something every curvy green roofed house should have.

A window seat built into a thickened wall as recommended in A Pattern Language.

Haven't had much free time lately so just some minor experimentation with a flat-roofed entryway.

                        Hi!

Added a backdoor into a mudroom. Also quite a bit of inside work, which is coming along nicely, and which I'll share in a bit.

I've completed most of the interior division of space. I like it. It would be a great house. 😄
