No ideas? If what I'm asking is impossible, that is also good to know. I would like to know that.

    • How do I make indestructible parts in sketchyphysics?

Hello, I'm using Sketchup Make version 14.1.1282 and sketchyphysics 3.5.6. I have a problem that my models always break apart when subjected to minimal stress. For example, I followed this example video for making a link-chain in sketchyphysics. In the video, the author duplicates the chain links 21 times, plays the animation, and the chain falls and bounces as it should. I had the same positive result. BUT, when I instead duplicate the links more that 21 times, say 25 times, the chain breaks into segments before it hits the bottom of its travel. I suspect this is why the author of that video stopped at the odd number 21; to show a successful test.

In real life, there is no way that chain would break as shown. I need to make animations that show all the physics, but do not break apart. Is there any way to turn off parts breakage? I see no option for it. I have tried increasing density, but this does not get me where I need to be. I need to disable breakage entirely, and make "ideal" or "perfect world" parts. is it possible? how?
