That is very nice. The angle, colors and layout are very easy on the eye.

If I may make one suggestion it would be to add ridge caps on the roof. I see you have the ridge vent, I am talking about the shingles.
See this image for an example: http://www.alltexexteriors.com/images/roof_89.jpg

A small detail like that can add quite a bit to the realism.

      Great work. πŸ‘

Thank you Boofredlay. It seems i have left a detail out. Your tip will
forsure make it in the next hipped roof project πŸ‘. thanks again.

nice model, looks very clean compared to a lot of native SU stuff ive seen.

Im gessing the sky was pp? if not, howd you do it!? it looks very realistic.

Thanks!! The sky and the border were the only pp elements.

      Hello all.
Here is a model of small bank i did for the firm i work for.
Most of the Entourage is from FormFonts.

The image is mostly native sketchup with minimal post process.

      Thanks for looking.

looks good and i like it. for me. when trying to obtain the watercolor look, i always seem to lose the overall
contrast and detail of the picture. the final product looks dark and muddied. just like if you overwork
      real watercolor media.

i would def. like to see a step by step.

      thanks.

      thanks for the comments.

i do need to work on the wood texture. at the time it was the closest texture i could find to the log color the builder uses.

as for them being built, i'm not to sure. the builder is a spec home(cabin) builder. they had me do renderings for 10 of their models.
i'd say at one time or in the future they will be built.

Canoek. i don't mind if your do a watercolor of either. If you share your process. 😎 j/k
