i did this awhile ago... i think its safe to post now... nothing complex, the client's textures are really what makes it..
*edit: took this down so i dont get in trouble

haha..taht's great!
love the sketchy rendered plan.
and i'm from that area too.. oakhurst, nj
wow.. this is amazing..cant believe how great this came out..congrats
aw man.... that's dedication! haha.. i think that looks good for the weld.. maybe twice as many divisions on the face of the weld? looks awesome though..
thanks guys..much appreciated... i will definitely hope to render these down the road when i'm bored and looking for something to do.. it always helps when you already have a model done but for the time being, this is it.. client really just needs the model.. just producing these images as examples for you guys and for updates for the client..
i appreciate the kind comments, guys
i realise i'm probably beating a dead horse with these... but hey, i'm bored and this is the only sketchup-related thing i'm working on at the moment
here are the 'final' images....the client has the model now and is reviewing it.. still have to do one more executive space for the editor..
not much difference, changed the ceiling a bit, added more lighting and just added alot of 'stuff'.. still coudl use some artwork, etc...
havent had much time to work on this.. started on the private offices..need to add some ceiling details... and alot of small details next..

And what if he really wants to build it?
haha..no worries there, its all fantasy.. i've got the exterior done as well..just nothing too special..
thank you tina!
..and one more per the client's request.. a center aisle... (I cheated and made the building wider ..dont tell)
ha...interesting idea, tom
bubba...two dachshunds? I've got two as well
here is a little update..
slow going on this, still working on the open office layout...and adding small details here and there like clutter, etc..
thanks for the kind words guys... much appreciated...especially since so much of this are just formfonts components..haha..
for these, they are just modelling, no texturing so i'm always sending 'white' images..definitely liking the tone on tone these days though...
and the camera angle..i know.. i cant help but have exagerrated perspective...drama Wink my field of view is always at 60.. definitely helps modelling for me b/c i can see more axes at once... sorry anssi..one client does force me to do 2 point perspectives
..cant really give any info on the project, but i'll show you some images as i go..haha.. its just modelling, no textures... and its not a 'real' space.... its a gossip mag's office..
i've got a diagrammatical floor plan to base it on.. here's what i've got so far for the open office.. nothing too exciting..but the most exciting thing i've got going haha..
nice..impressive modelling for sketchup....let's get a little more light! i can barely see it to appreciate it
damn..awesome modelling.. cant wait to see the progress.
gonna mess with this a 'little' more... but its really been keeping me from my 'work' this week..haha.. i did really want the logo ball to be different.... it was supposed to be orange, but ended up way too close the red..and i like the red balls too much to make them another color i will give the DOF a whirl..and maybe try moving the branch to the lower right..i suck with composition...oooooorrr..i might just leave it like this and keep it simple added some hooks
yeah..i might try changing the light source to the right to highlight that ball more.. its defintely lacking...
here's one with some evergreen.. not feeling it though..crappy composition..
ok.. here is an update..(no level changes in pshop) whatta you think?
taking eric's cue, and running one now with a bit of evergreen off to the left.. not really sure on the placement..maybe it needs to be on the right..
