RE: Create equidistant guides
Thank you for you quick answers !
**TIG :**You are using / and not \ ?
yes I am using / and not
I tried move+crtl but I think it only works for object ? Am I right ?**Mechtec :**To avoid misunderstood ...I don't want to copy an object I want to create equidistant guides as shown in the tuto. With the measure tool.
Maybe I wasn't clear enough.

Create equidistant guides
Hello everyone,
I am both a new member and a new user of sketchup...
I watched several tutorials and there is one thing in this particular tuto that I can't do :
http://sketchupforwoodworkers.com/tutorials/2009/01/30/dados-rabbets-and-guides/it's about creating equidistant guides between 2 ones. In the video the command "/4" is used to create 4 guides between 2 guides.
I looked in a lot of places and searched some explanations on how it works but with no result. In the video it looks like pretty simple but when I am typing "/4" or "/with any number" nothing happened. The same video's author use the command "*4" to multiply an object...it works perfectly for me too so I really don't understand why I can't do his "/" command.
So could someone help me on this point ?
Should I have to download a plugin ?Thank you !
