Hi L i am,

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the links. I will work through it.

It is difficult to get good photos. The Bavarian Palace Department pays close attention to the photography ban on the castle grounds.
Hi, only photos from the internet.
Two good sources are:
http://www.deutschefotothek.de/gallery/freitext/neuschwanstein
https://www.bildindex.de/ete?action=queryupdate&desc=neuschwanstein&index=obj-all
According to the statistics:
3.196.806 edges, 1.487.383 surfaces, 11.290 components and 12.411 groups

Hello,
here is a model of the castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria/ Germany
The model is not finished yet. There are still some windows missing. The terrain is suboptimal and without vegetation. The sculptures are missing because I have no experience in this area. Construction period 3 years with interruptions of several months.
A good trick to smooth edges without optical errors are two additional lines next to the original lines
Yes only in Sketchup with a little help with the plugins Vertex-Tools, SubD and the sidewindows with Soap Skin & Bubble
I do not know what people like about this model. I modeled this model a few years ago. In the Sketchup 3d Warehouse it was downloaded over 65000 and over 240 liked.
Hello, here my first post.
A coffee machine.
