Thanks for the comments guys. Skattering proxies is the missing link for sketchup.

RE: Discovery One
Thanks for the comments guys. Regarding the white balance i used a wild film response to give everything that retro blue look. I never as a rule do any post processing or adjustments to a render so thats a no no
Mike, yes space would be more ideal but lighting is tricky as a black hdr image isn't very useful i suppose i could have used a small distant sun or a nearby emitting jupiter. But here Discovery has returned to earth orbit it's been lost since the 2010 film

RE: Berney Arms Drainage Mill
Yes it's from the Maxwell plugin. You can control many parameters it's based on physics (unbiased render).

RE: Photoscanned Croissants
I made the proxy in Maxwell Studio. My sketchup viewport is 3 rectangle volumes on a plane.

RE: Cold outside DOF render Twilight
Looks good, i like the trees
Happy New Year. -
RE: Wolf Totem
Thanks for the comments, yes Mike the heads are a little lost by the trees your right.

RE: Wolf Totem
Here are the trees yes it also includes no snow versions:
The pack also includes reddish needles so there are 60 variants for the price. It was monotonous preparing them as maxwell proxies but worth it in the end as always

RE: Wolf Totem
The trees are 3d i used 6 of the large ones and 4 small i have 20 of various sizes of these. The larger trees are 120+ mb so i used proxies in sketchup.
