Not sure, that is the only design we actually put the fireplace on. I have to admit it wouldn't look as good if it didn't have it.

RE: Completed Sketchup Projects!
Well I like to create a frame with the landscaping. Sometimes the renderings can get boring if all you are looking at is just the building. But I also try not to take the eye away from building considering that is really what they want to see.
Krisidious-what techniques do you want to know? -
RE: Completed Sketchup Projects!
Ok, I promise this is the last one. At least for today. The client for this one wanted to know whether they would have to cut down that tree right behind the building. So they wanted me to a model of the building a put it in a pic that they took of the site from street level. I thought it came out rather nice. Now, ERIC there will be a starbucks at the end of this building where you see the drive-thru window. THEY'RE FREAKING EVERYWHERE! haha. Thanks to all you happy sketchuppers!

Sorry, one more. If you live in Greensboro or the surrounding area you might've already seen this one. It is in almost all the apartment finder books.

RE: Completed Sketchup Projects!
The cars are from FormFonts and a couple of trees are actually from FF. Last one.

RE: Completed Sketchup Projects!
Here's a few more. The next 4 are for a church renovation and addition project again in good 'ol Greensboro, NC. This is probably one of my favorite projects because I got to use all my Sketchup "skills" I guess you could say to complete to project. Took about 2 weeks with going out to the site and taking pictures then having to photoshop them to use as textures. I took pictures of all the landscaping and thats what you see in the pics. Thanks for letting me share!

Figured I would add some more while I'm not too busy. These are for Advanced HomeCare located in High Point, NC "Furniture Capital of the World" and my hometown!

RE: Completed Sketchup Projects!
Haha, here at work we've been calling it the doggie brothel. The client really thinks that she is going to be able to get a 4 star restaurant downstairs. Not really sure how that is going to work, but I definetly know the jokes will be coming from customers of the restaurant when the dogs and cats start going crazy in the kennels! I added some more views for you viewing pleasure.

RE: WIP - Church Interior
Fletch, I don't mind sending you the model or the xml file. I didn't change any of the carpet settings when I rendered this one. I thought if I didn't change it, it would just be flat and not do what it continues to do. Let me know how you want me to send it to you. Thanks a lot!
Here is another I let render last night Fletch.

RE: WIP - Church Interior
Well yea, that too... but my main concern is the carpet is showing up way too much on the ceiling.

WIP - Church Interior
I am doing a church in Sanford, NC. I'm going to post a quick render I did and I was wondering if someone here could maybe help me. I'm having problems with the aqua carpet showing too much on the ceiling. I haven't changed any of the material values from sketchup, I figured someone here may have seen this before or knows of a quick fix. Oh, I am using kerkythea. Thanks!
