Hi guis, thankyou so mutch for all those comments! I'm not happy with this first result, and i'm not happy with the second result that i'm getting here, but the problem is > Time. • Video Rendered

Hi guis i'm here to show you an video that was made in sketchup (the modeling) + Modo (rendering) There was 24frames per sencond and 120s of rendered images. I've done it with 4 core2quads, in a lan rendering. The total time was about 3 days. For time reasons the camera is so fast.
I'd realy like to make it better but as i said the time as aganist me.

      I hope you like it!

silver_shadow, you don't imagine how many people here in Brazil knows you for your Eye candy's works. You are the greatest with sketchup man, i'm so sad how can google stay with this powerfull tool of modeling and not improove this so mutch loved software. I can tell you that you are very known in all world, for all those ho use sketchup, and i always show your work to those who use another software, to show that sketchup is capable.
Thanks for sharing this great work!

I checked out the 401 demo on their site....Is anyone that has Modo on here going to upgrade...is it worth it?
      Jeff

I think so, yes. Though if you already own, say, Vray, and don't need modo's modeling tools to further tweak your SU model, I'd say you're better off keeping your cash in your pocket.

ooor you can do just like me. i've both.

Yes, very nice, exterior renders don't get any better that this.

actully i think it can, and i'll try to do that.

      nice renders.
How long have you been using Modo and where did you learn to use it? I really am interested in looking into this program for further development for myself

I know you work and i'm a big fan of you. I think this software is perfecto for what you do! Together with sketchup i think it's the perfect combination.

Yes, very nice Ande! I would loose the psychedelic snack cart though. I think it looks way out of place in that neighborhood.

I love, love the second image. Was there any photoshop done to the waterfall, or is that straight out of Modo?

I totaly agree with you about that snack cart! lol.

The waterfall was done all in modo and there is no photoshop on it, it's very simple do that on modo.

    • RE: Modo 302 and 401

sepo... hum the first one took about 10min and the last it as in 17min, but what makes modo workflow very quick is that you have always a real time preview render.

      stinkie... yes.

solo... thanks man, i've used some evermotions, luxology and 3dwarehouse to bild this images, but modo have a very large materials of content.

      princedragoncok.... you are right! Thanks.

artysmedia... the first one is one model i've downloaded from 3dwarehouse, those pines it's from autodesck free models, and the car is from 3dwarehouse.

The second image, i've used 3dwarehouse and the grass is fur from modo, and a looooot of proxis, or replica how it's called in modo 401.

The basic as, wall, flors, and those things i use to model in sketchup, than import to modo and render.
