Thanks.
Actually I was doing what you suggest, but was putting the whole downloaded folder in the plugins folder, rather than the contents of the downloaded folder.
Got it fixed now
Cheers,
Andrew

That's great stuff. The semicircular tubes will need to be able to be rotated to demonstrate how that affects where the balls will fall, though they should not fall themselves. Can I use the posted solution from hpnisse for this, or does it mean I will have to create composite tubes as described?
thanks,
Andrew
Hi
I'm trying to create a simulation of small objects falling through semicircular canals (pipes, or tubes), but I can't get one object to fall through another - it bounces off as if the apparently open end were solid. Any tips?
Thanks
Andrew
Hi I've been trying all morning to sort out my problem here but none of the suggested solutions seems to work for me.
I'm on Mac os 10.6.6
I have SU8 installed on my HD
I have downloaded Sketchyphysics 3.2 from herehttp://code.google.com/p/sketchyphysics/downloads/detail?name=SketchyPhysics3.2-Dec-2(MAC).zip&can=2&q=
And put it into the folder here: /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp
(Incidentally, this is where SU is looking for plugins. (following advice from another post, I entered this into the Ruby console and got that filepath back "Sketchup.find_support_file("Plugins")")
And...nothing happens. Actually I'm not sure exactly what should happen, but I'm guessing it should appear as a plugin in the plugin menu, or as a tool palette under the view>tool palettes menu.
I've gone into the preferences and ticked all the extensions too. Again, nothing.
All the files are unzipped.
I uninstalled SU and deleted SP, then reinstalled them both. Still the same
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
Michael how exactly did you solve this problem? I have the identical one. I placed the downloaded folder into the plugins folder under /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp, then restarted SU but cannot see the toolbar. I've looked for it under view>tool palettes
Thanks,
Andrew
