I came across one of my favourite models....done a few years ago, with a fair degree of difficulty for me at the time.

So after a bit of a touch-up I ran it through Kerkythea. Done without bump mapping and other esoteric effects....but good enough for my folio and maybe my website.

ED. Just in case somebody notices, I have updated this image with a little modification to the foreground planting.

I used SU2KT to export from SU and the XML file ended up a fairly impressive 250Mb.

And another big wrap for Jim Foltz' Mover rb. Just the right tool for doing subtle rotations and movements of individual plant components to give the image a more natural look.

Hey Stu, that's beautiful! The render has very nice light and the model itself is really nice!

              Cheers,

                Thanks guys.

And Craig, re that light. I am finding my Kerkythea renders are coming out a couple of gamma stops short of a sunny day......so I have been adding that warmer glow in PhotoImpact....my favourite image editing app.

                  Hi Stu
Never seen a garden as tidy as that before. What no weeds?
                  Beautiful job.

I join the others in saying how much I like this render. My favorite part is having the people & car in the open garage, just poking out from the deep shade. Cool touch. A human touch.

                      Regards, Ross

                        Tom,
Your right this image has had the WC treatment....see, once again, the attached πŸ˜‰

                        Ross,
Yep, I particularly liked the figures merging into the shadows.
They were always pretty low key in the original SU, but this effect in Kerkythea was unplanned but was a pleasant surprise.

check out the attached photo... the circles I placed show some of the elements that really bring this render home for me... the subtle reflections and shadows made me double take on if this was real, model or composition of both... if the glass in the benz had been darker you might have had me...

awesome job... great selection of camera location, really captured a future complete view...
