House renovation
-
Here is a house renovation project I am
doing at the moment .
The rendering was done in maxwell. -
And here is a view from the terrace.
-
Too nice, Mateo! The rendering too but the house, the whole scene! I've always wanted to live in Dalmatia (it's there, sin't it?). Some more details, please?!
-
Thanks Gaieus,
You want some information about Dalmatia or about the scene?
The scenes were done in SU exported to Maxwell where most of the materials were aded - post production in PS.
About Dalmatia come and we will have a beer on this terrace.Cheers.
-
I've been there a couple of times But the beer (and this terrace) sounds / looks nice!
Is it (going to be) your house?
-
That is beautiful.
-
Nice Mateo. Was this done with the newest veriosn released this week? Do you use the plugin or do you work in Studio?
-
Beautiful work. I said it before and I'll say it again, so glad I joined this forum.
thanks for posting.

Eric,Jeff,Alan,
thank You for Your time and comments.Gaieus,
I am affraid this is not my house I am just
doing a job for a client. When I start making that kind
of money doing this kind of work maybe Ill buy one.Jeff,
They just sent me the newest version 1,5 two days ago.
I think the second image "the terrace" was done with that.Though I didnt have time to analise it properly.
although I can see that there are great improvements.
The render times are getting faster.I use the plugin
only to export to maxwell and then do all the rest in maxwell, although you can add now even maxwell materials in su prior to export.I dont do that because
it is much easier to do it directly and you can preview the scene or segment of the scene to see if the material is ok. There is also a great library of over a 1000 Free realistic materials on the M&M exchange site, so I just upload what I need without
wasting time making my own.Hope this answers Your Question,
Cheers,

I have been using Maxwell for a year or so and have found it to be an irritating little program. I think that has changed with 1.5. The cores per license thing was a real problem. Now, with almost unlimited use of available processors, I think things will start moving forward. It's a lot faster and the Maxwell Studio interface is much improved.
I will say I have problems with flipped polys that can't be fixed and that AGS glass does not work on my mac. Are you using mac or windows?

OffTopic:
Happy birthday, Mateo!
-
M&M exchange site?
-
Jeff,
You are right it really is going in positive
direction. I am on Windows so I really wouldnt know how it behaves on mac.Kriss,
Here is the link.

Welcome to the forum Dean. There is a limit to the size a gallery submission can be, unless you want the person in question to e-mail / FTP you the file directly, the rules will apply.

Haha not sure if Prejebeno is compliment.
The terrace image is just beautiful....I can feel heat.
