Scaleability... in architecure and community planning this means using advanced overall planning above the details. like you might put a great deal of effort into how one house fits into a community, but even more thought must be put into how that house interacts with the next and how the group of houses interacts with the next group and then the block and the village and the town ship and the city... blah blah blah... if you make your roads and utilities and such repetative and enterlocking then things flow better down the line... how this pertains to Google... is you take all of your assets and merge there similar needs every product needs support and forums... so why pay for each group to be ran on seperate servers when we can consolidate all of our forums and user support groups in one place we already own.

at least thats the way they see it I'm sure...

Google is probably migrating the "Old Forums" to the Groups right now. The Groups are exceptionally slow and you have to post things 2 or 3 times until they get through - you know I often post there too; kind of a "mission" I guess... ๐Ÿ˜„

          "Scaleability"?

I wonder what improvements they are going to implement - but they haven't "warned" the Groups users about the changes yet.
Though there are maybe only about half a dozen regular posters there who cares - and they are regular visitors of the Pro Forums, too, so they might already know that something is happening...
