      Hello everybody

I have a Pentium Core2 duo 1.8 GHZ with on-board Intel Extreme Graphics Card and with 2 GB DDR2 RAM.

There is an offer right now for NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500 card with Adobe Photoshop CS2 full suite bundled. This is a limited time offer.

Will there be a marked difference in the performance of SketchUP with this card?

I am not too keen on the Phtoshop bundle.

      Advice will be greatly appreciated.
      Thanks in advance

Someone gave me this link in a similar post hopefully it can help, generally on baord GCs arent particularly great, i upgraded from my on board to an Nvidea 7900 and the difference is huge, on SU i can get a great anti aliasing (which can be handy when u want straight SU renders) also i can run two monitors at a high resolution with no problem

        hope this is of use

Thank you for the quick reply. The card you have mentioned - Nvidia 7900 - is it Quadro or GeForce?

          With regards

The Nvidia 7900 is a Geforce.

You will certainly see an improvement if you upgrade, but it is hard to measure and say how much.
I would personally never use onboard graphics unless you just surf the net.
Always better to have a dedicated gpu.
