"my "ART-SKETCH COMPONENTS"...

Hi Urgen,
Yes, as I wrote in the PM, it was most probably me who screwed up something. Sorry againg - now at last in public - but really good news you still have the post info saved.
If you want, I can recreate the whiole thread from it and attribute every single post to its original poster (simply the way we are actually doing the transfer). Seriously, I'd be extremely glad if I could do this so therefore please, send me all the info so that I can redeem my fauld by recovering your topic.
The best would be via email (maybe the files are too big) at gaieus(at)gaieus(dot)hu.
This was such a great topic that it must be retrieved
Thanks in advance (today I'm going for some family lunch since we celebrate Christmas more on 24th evening than on the Day of Christmas but I could do it tomorrow).
And since you are from Russia, I guess you celebrate Christmas in January but anyway - a Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas to you (in this way this order )

The holidays are coming and I would like to create the holiday magic atmosphere and a good mood in pictures...enjoy it!!!

Recently I have seen post info (Jon) of how to make sport shoes (http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1817).
Quite an interesting topic for me. These are some things from my collection:

...OLD RADIO- one of my first components. Despite of a couple of drawbacks , it seems to be pretty good ...
-
...thermometer - there's nothing more simple than this one to make!
That's all for today.... Merry X-mas and Happy New Year everyone!!! See you!!!
-
Thanks!
A superb virtual Christmas present!
Happy Everything

Wow, it didn't occur to me that this was native SketchUp until I downloaded your *.skp. Now I see. This is really impressive and shows me how much there is to learn in SU.

Wow! These boots are really made for walking!
Work of art, thanks for sharing.Have a nice Christmas day,

...probably, somebody still do not clearly understand how it works... giving the post info of how I do the textures to SHOES. The same way I did Skies ,ski boots and wheels that I showed earlier ( I gave the material to GAI and they are going to be restored soon). This is probably the learning video of how to work in PHOTOSHOP...

...May be somebody is interested in the variants of shoe1? Please, here's the post info...

urgen, awesome work there!
I was hoping somebody could download the file and host it on an english server, I'm flying blind on the russian download page - I've tried the links (after the counter is done, that url) without success.

Urgen,
So good!!..thanks.
Questions:
What kind of camera are you using?
Are you using a "light box" or natural lighting?
Have you found an average optimum file size for you photo textures?
Cheers!!I use standard photoshop's filters. Here I used the "filterforge"(Freepack 1 – Metals).
http://www.filterforge.com/download/ ----- it is very funny! .. -
hello everyone!
first of all want to wish a Merry X-mas for those, who are orthodox. I've been thinking some poeple do not fully understand how Ichange the textures... I work with SU5...and the others mostly work with SU6... sending post info in SU6...Of course, this is not such an effective thing as in SU5, but more understandable for the users of SKETCHUP.
The main thing is MAKE COPY(CTRL+C) of one from the sizes in the window EDIT TEXTURE of the basic texture and PASTE(CTRL+V) in the same window of the new texture... this is simple...
