CatchUP: Apple

Did this about a month ago (in fact it was part of my first post on these forums), and thought I'd add it to the catchup competition. Nothing very complicated, but I quite liked the texturing I'd achieved.

Gai, yes I did render it (i was suprised how well it came out to be honest)

that skin is totally real, I love the little marks... and it's sahpe seems irregular all the way around, like a real apple... is that the case or is it an illusion?
I love how such small things can be so incredible when they are completely modeled.

just an illusion, its regular all the way around, except for the top section where the stalk comes from, there are a few irregularities there but not many.thanks for the comment about how real the skin is, as i said i was pleased with the texture, particularly how seam lines hardly show up, and the lack of 'smearing' of the texture.
