I am just starting to texture a church sanctuary I did and needed a suspended linear wood ceiling. I took a tight grain wood texture I had and used it for the beams, then created the linear ceiling texture from it. I thought I would share.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I patterened it after the Rulon Linear Open Style. I know the slats are a bit wider than they spec but it is an easy adjustment in SU if you choose.

Cool material, Eric - I guess it could even be used as a bumpmap in rendering softwares!
