MoGrOv – Parametric Threads, Bolts, Nuts & Gears for 3D Printing
-
Hi everyone,I'd like to introduce a new SketchUp extension I've been working on called MoGrOv. If you use SketchUp for 3D printing or CNC routing, you probably know that modeling accurate, printable threads and gears manually can be quite a headache.
MoGrOv is a suite of advanced, fully parametric 3D modeling tools that lets you generate perfect internal and external threads, custom bolts, nuts, and complex involute gears directly inside SketchUp with just a few clicks.
️ Main Features & Included Tools:Bolts, Grub Screws & Nuts: Generate standard fasteners instantly.
Bolt & Lid: Create custom external and internal threads (perfect for custom bottles, caps, and containers).
Inlays: Easily create precise threaded holes in your existing models.
Easy Gear: Parametric involute gear generator.
TR Generator, Fastener Placer & Safe Solids: Helpful utility tools to speed up your workflow.
Built for 3D Printing & CNC
The geometry generated is optimized for solid modeling and high-precision physical manufacturing. We support both Metric and Imperial measurement standards.
Try it for Free (Trial Version)
To let you test how seamlessly it works and check your 3D printer's tolerances, we offer a fully functional Free Trial. It includes our Metric suite limited to M4, M5, M6, and M7 sizes. It's completely free to use (note: the free version just opens our website on your first click per SketchUp session to help support the development).
We also offer completely free stand-alone tools like Easy Gear, TR Generator, Fastener Placer, and Safe Solids. You can check out the tools, download the free trial, or see our Pro versions (Metric, Imperial, or the Complete Suite) on our website:
www.mogrov.proI would love to hear your feedback, feature requests, or see what you 3D print using MoGrOv. Let me know if you have any questions!
Happy modeling!
