TopoSurface Generator is an automated pipeline designed to save hours of manual cleanup when working with complex imported CAD files. It filters out 2D debris and interpolates clean 3D topographical meshes from messy contour lines or point clouds.
Core Features
DWG to TopoSurface: A one-click automated pipeline that extracts valid 3D contours from selected groups, filters out flat geometry (Z=0), calculates mathematical Z-steps, and generates a smoothed mesh.
Contours to Point Cloud: Extracts guide points exclusively from the vertices of selected 3D lines, ignoring text and building footprints.
Point Cloud / Contours to Surface: Generates a custom interpolated mesh with user-defined grid sizing, smoothing iterations, and debris cutoff depths.
Clean Undo Stack: All heavy iterative geometry calculations are grouped into single, reversible operations to keep your model safe.

Update: TopoSurface Generator is now officially on the Extension Warehouse!Great news everyone! The plugin has successfully passed the manual code review by the Trimble moderation team and is now published in the official SketchUp Extension Warehouse.
This means you can now install it seamlessly with one click directly from within SketchUp (Window > Extension Warehouse) or download the officially signed .rbz package.
