A Wallet Drawer

Maybe it should be called a Valet? My bride doesn't carry a purse. Instead she just has a flat wallety thing for a few credit cards and some cash. It seems every time she comes in the house she lays it down in a different place and then can't find it the next time. I decided to make a little drawer thing just for her wallet and put it under the box where she puts her keys (and a whole bunch of keys to things we don't know).
So a quickie sketch.
And the finished piece on the wall.
A small detail changes by otherwise as drawn. The drawer front is from a piece out of the scrap bin. I had cut around the knot for another project but I thought it would make a nice detail on this piece.
Sorry for the lousy cell phone photo. My DSLR battery needs to be charged.
