I’m deeply sorry if I’m not doing the right thing or following the right procedure to share a doubt with you guys but, even so, I guess there may be attenuating circumstances for me.
Well, I’m in deep need to “Add (and grab) Location(s)” from Google Earth. Is it possible somehow or with some specific version of Sketchup?

Google Earth licencing no longer supports images being grabbed from it for use in SketchUp (amongst others).

There are some extensions that deliver similar outputs, look at the following:

        • Oob Terrain
        • Placemaker

There might be some more, can't think of them off-the-bat though.

Save the Earth, it's the only planet with chocolate.

Thanks a big lot for your useful and quick comment/tip. I taking a trial experimentation of the plug ins you mentioned. Good winds for you, juju, mate.

Hi JuJu, Am I misunderstanding? From within SketchUp you can still grab locations and terrain...File/Geo-location/Add location. Isn't that what the OP wanted?

              Hello, baz!
The question i put was really about Google Earth terrain grabbing just because i noticed that Google Earth seams to give a more detailed presentation of 3D terrains. Of course I've
used the Add Location with Sketchup but somehow i imagine that the results present DigitalGlobe engine could perhaps be as good as i imagined with Google Earth.
              Salutations, guys.
