Choose your wall thickness (in mm) and click: top left, top right and bottom right corner to create curtains and a plant for your window.

The curtains color and width are randomly chosen from 12 different materials. The plants are randomly chosen from 17 different plants.
If you don't like the result you can either delete it and create another one or right click on the selected component and choose Dynamic Component > Component options.

The curtains and plants are simple image planes meant to easily liven up you exterior shots and will probably not look as good for a close up.
This extension works well with my 3pt Window plugin.

      Available in the plugin store.

Nice idea. Can the plant positions also be randomized?

          Not in this first version.
I have ideas for more than one plant, blinds and even lamps and perhaps low poly objects but I wanted to finish v1.
I have been using image planes for this for some time but doing it by hand.
I just wanted something that was faster.

Wow, Great! Thanks. I sometimes make some simple curtains and put them in the window components but then I usually start a job and skip this step, only to have some elevations looking weird with the empty windows. This would be an nice fix for my laziness!

                Hi all,
Nice addition ! This give me some idea for enhancing my next plugin:
I'm actually working on (yet another) window maker, full of options, among them you'll have the possibility to add a "screen", opened at a parametric percentage of the height of the casement.
Below is a sliding window, 2 parametric sashes with parametric muntins, no shutter, no "push bar", all materials parametric:
                sliding with screen.jpg

                Interface:

                sliding params.jpg

You will also have the possibilty to create window components based on a face, no matter its shape 😉
