Call the Kids for Dinner!

Sleepless night and needed something quiet to do. How about a Gothic-Revival dinner gong from England c.1880 modeled in SketchUp? Those crazy Victorians knew how to get a party started.

How big is that doohickey? Rattle the widows and wake the neighbors big, or just wake up the hubby big?
In any dimension, the model's excellent.
Best,

Thank you.
The bronze gong is only 16 inches in diameter. It makes me wonder what sort of household would use a gong to call people for dinner. I'd think the upper crust would be the ones to afford something like this in those days but they'd have a butler to announce that dinner is served.

Didn't the Addams Family have one of those? And Lurch banged it.
I like it!
