Haven't done a lot of exterior stuff. This was a combo of modeling practice and trying to wrap my brain around using Skatter plugin. Rendered in Twilight, post pro in Gimp. The grass I "Skattered" was out of Rich's grass pack in the store.

Hello Charles, the biggest improvement would be to avoid such a large flat expanse of grass in the foreground IMHO. The house could be improved upon also (maybe later) but add some foreground vegetation ect to lead your eye onto the main subject. The image looks very flat atm, very monotone and maybe this would help.

John, Thanks for the input. The landscaping is what I struggle with the most. When is it enough or too much.... As for the house plan, maybe not everyones cup of tea now , but straight off an old blueprint. Still your comments much appreciated. Back to the practice πŸ‘ .

This type of houses is what I see every day in Puerto Rico!

            Cheers!

Thanks renderiza. A lot of homes like this in South Florida when I was growing up too.
