Mod Bed & Nightstands
-
Realized I didn't have much of this sort of thing in my parts library. Knocked this model out last night. Actually have a simplified version of the bed frame that I knocked together about eight years ago.....

Clean and simple. Nice.

Thanks David.

in all shown sobriety(?) a nice subtle(?) detail to let one drawer look out a little
(and btw - far beyond "Beginner" ) -
Thanks for the positive words HornOxx. As for your comment about my ranking as a beginner ... as I understand the rank system on this site a persons modeling ability is not high on the list of importance as is the ability to fully use the various SU tools. I have no idea how to use Layout, rarely have used the Sandbox tools, geo - locate a model never and let's not even bring up the Ruby Console.... clueless. So I suspect I'll continue modeling my way along learning as I need and stay down at the bottom of the ladder with my beginner status.

... the same with me - my layout knowledge for example is 0,1 on a scale of 10 and you are right, the ranking is not so important so please take my comment only as a compliment for your postings here which I appreciate

HornOxx, Your comments are always appreciated and definitely took your last post as the compliment you intended.
And yes at times I find the ranking system a little perplexing. -
Nice model again! Wish I had time to model some of the thing I have made.......As for layout I am headed there to add that to my very basic tool kit. It is time for me to use it to better communicate. Not going to use it for shop drawings just for a better presentation of "sketch" ideas.
Hope the shallow end is good and I can get it going easily. -
jtri, thanks and good luck with your endeavors with Layout.
