Spent part of the afternoon trying to avoid some real work. Decided to model a low coffee table designed in about 1979 by Massimo and Leila Vignelli. The Vignellis were very influential designers working in the late 20th century. Among many other things, they created modular plastic dinnerware for Heller and a controversial map for the New York City subway system. Massimo died in 2014; Leila, in 2016. The shapes supporting the glass top are various types of marble. Simple shapes, easy to model. The whole shebang took me maybe 10 minutes.
      Enjoy.

Thanks for the good words, everyone, and to Mike for the link to info about the Vignellis. They were a interesting couple who created many interesting and beautiful things. This table isn't one of the beautiful things, though. But it did serve one very important purpose: It gave me something to do for a few minutes this afternoon.
