Spring House Press has just published "Woodturning Patterns," a book that I wrote and illustrated using SketchUp and LayOut. The book consists of more than 80 patterns for turning all sorts of stuff--pepper mills, bowls, platters, tool handles, knobs, finials, holiday ornaments, even chopsticks and a baseball bat. The patterns include all the measurements you need to duplicate the piece, plus a 3D drawing of the finished object.

For more information, you can follow this link to the publisher's write-up:

      Enjoy!

Great book David. πŸ‘ would also be a good reference for dimensions to create accurate SU models for using in renders and such. πŸ‘

Much obliged, tuna. And thanks for the suggestion about renders.

I received my copy yesterday. Wow! Lovely, spare SketchUp illustrations. Such beautiful curves.

Excellent work, David. Keep it up.
