Work in progress
-

I was looking for a complex piece of furniture to model, and this Federal dressing table seemed to fill the bill. Thomas Seymour, a noted Boston cabinetmaker, made the original in about 1810. It's made of birdseye maple and mahogany, with some gilt accents. I've finished the hardest parts--the crazy reeded legs and the scroll holding the mirror. I expect to finish the model sometime next week and post it here and on the 3D Warehouse; it'll be my 400th model.
Enjoy.

Frenchy,
Glad you like my 3D Warehouse models. You chose one to render that was particularly difficult to create. Now, it looks great.
And thanks for the compliment, tuna.
Best,

Very nice work, David. And early congrats on your 400th model. That's a lot of drawing.

Thank you, Dave.
