I was looking for a complex piece of furniture to model, and this Federal dressing table seemed to fill the bill. Thomas Seymour, a noted Boston cabinetmaker, made the original in about 1810. It's made of birdseye maple and mahogany, with some gilt accents. I've finished the hardest parts--the crazy reeded legs and the scroll holding the mirror. I expect to finish the model sometime next week and post it here and on the 3D Warehouse; it'll be my 400th model.
