[Request] MakeCompositeWall Plugin

I kindly ask for a plugin that would slice, or divide "wall" - grouped solid geometry, including openings, into two separate groups along the outline offset: "core" and "skin".
Besides the selected wall, input would be a number representing the width of the wall "core".
Illustration included.
I think this plugin could be useful to many architects when going from concept design to more detailed structure design.
