              It's fascinating, but at the same time I feel it's kind of sad limiting such a great artist down to code.
              In a way the program's just mimicking what it's been taught.
              A human can invent things and try different solutions to better captures his/her idea.

              Still, even the old masters themselves used the latest technique available:

                Yeah, well maybe. We don't know. But we do know the lengths artists went to in order to create perspective etc. once the concepts became clear. When you look at what Caravaggio ACTUALLY DID with either technology or shear force of talent, it doesn't matter.

                I think the breaking-down of Rembrandt's works to code or algorithms is fascinating. It's just more of man looking inward and taking it apart to see what works and how it's connected to nature. As screwed-up a species as we are, amazing what lies within.
