rattan furniture.pngWe got a couple inches of spring snow the other day, which made me long for summertime. So, of course, I modeled some bamboo furniture that I saw on the 1stdibs.com web site. In the best livin' is easy style, I was too lazy to model all the lashings that hold the bamboo pieces together. All I need now is a big drink with an umbrella in the glass.
      Enjoy,
      dh

Got up to high 80's here today. We're ready for those now!

        NICE job!

Actually those would be great models for furnishing renderings of houses.

Thank you, sir, for the compliment, the weather report, and the suggestion. I have the model up on the 3D Warehouse, where it had 7 downloads in the first hour. I'll bet some architects and interior designers are using the model just as you suggest.

Very nice model, sir.Looks like a great place for a tall lemonade if it would just warm up a bit.

              Thanks, Dave.
I prefer an Arnold Palmer. Or a gin and tonic, or a rum and coke, or a good margarita. But after a couple of tall ones, I begin to slur my modeling. And my wife takes away the car keys.
