Gothic Window

Hi everybody :
This one was rendered using Twilight Render. Comments (especially on how to improve) are welcome. Thanks........garystan

Gothic ? Maybe Celtic or Hobbit!

The low segmentation of the outside arc is very bad. Also the arcs from the middle are not true tangents. And maybe you could have used roundcorner for the edges as they look to sharp for the overall look.

Details. Details. Details. Unless the entire window is carved from the trunk of a redwood tree, that window would be constructed from many pieces of wood. But that isn't reflected in your model (likewise on your chair). And I see what looks like hints of reflection in glass, but where is the glass in the window? How is it attached. Some of these things you might ignore if the view was further away, but not this close if your aim is realism.

I wasn't sure of what "style" to call it.........Thanks. garystan

Not bad but it is the details that matter. For me it's the choice of wood grain and no bump mapping on any surface.
That said, I also have some problems getting Twilight to look good, but that is probably just me not being having enough experience with it.
