Alvar Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer whose influence can still be felt today. His signature furniture pieces usually involved bent plywood or bent laminations of birch. I saw the bar cart on the 1stdibs.com web site; once I had finished that model, I decided to do Aalto's iconic stacking tables for dessert.
