School Bench--Mexico 1949
-

I haven't have much time for drawing this last week or so due to having a house guest but I needed to do something so I drew up this bench. It's based on one designed by Ernesto Gallardo and built in Mexico for use in a school. I expect there were dozens of these things made. I can imagine pairs of Mexican children sitting on benches like this eager to learn to read.
