Just spent a week in Somerset with the big one, 25th Anniversary πŸ˜› don't know how she's put up with me all these years!.
Stumbled upon the little village of Dunster https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunster
A true little gem of old England.

I know, I spotted the missing door handles πŸ˜†

Very nice again! It looks smaller than your other houses?

Great render! But mostly I find the detailing impressive. I like the stone work around the openings, the base and the gable ends.

Good job on all the trees and foreground. That's pretty good getting all that expanse looking natural. Maybe add a Jag to cover that oil spot.

What do you do with these models and renderings John? Do you sell them?

Thank you Carsten and Peter, it is smaller than most models but the detailing still takes the same amount of time. I started a really big model a few weeks ago but don't seem to have time to finish her off ATM, hopefully soon.

Hello Kriss, all the models/renders that I post here are just hobby/pass-time projects. Why do you want some πŸ˜†

                thanks John

Number one... They would look great on any wall.
Number two... You have a definite style and favorite subject. I could see a company wanting a whole line of them as a set.
Number three... I've been working on a few projects where we're trying to find artists/modelers/architects/designers to sell their plans and or models on a website.

Hello Kriss, none (or very few) of these models are taken from plans they are purely for aesthetics, often I don't even model the backs. I'm unable to post the model, 4.02MB the limit is 4 but if you e-mail me john.higgins [at] ntlworld.com I'll send it to you.

I like the work combining stone texture and modeled dressed stone trim. It all adds realism. Are you using displacement or bump in the stone texture?

removed the internal panel and till too big, just paste in place. Hope it works.

Peter, there are no bump or displacement maps as I felt it was too far away although I would have used
bump if it had been closer.

                            thank you, John

                                Hi John
There is a little town called Dunster just down the road from me in BC Canada, probably named after your Dunster.
Has a great old tiny train station that is being restored. The kind of building that would
look good as one of your excellent renderings.
