Please forgive me if this is covered by another plugin (-s) / extension (-s), and if so please point me in that direction.

Would it be possible to create a plugin / extension that one could customize a floating / dock-able toolbar (-s) based on plugins / extensions installed on the machine? Let me explain my train of thought...

I was wondering about organizing tools into various groups / tabs / menu's, and then assigning positions in each group / tab / menu for specific buttons from various plugins / extensions (of my choosing), thus creating a personalized menu system.

Not knowing anything about coding doesn't really help me here, but my train of thought was as follows:

Create a master / setup window, being able to add / remove additional tabs (with custom names) that will show up later as separate toolbars. Each of these tabs then be divided up into a grid that the floating toolbars from the various plugins / extensions are placed upon, can be locked into position and the grid position of the various buttons on the toolbar can then be referenced into the customizable toolbar (-s). The master / setup toolbar will only show up / display when settings need to be changed to the custom child toolbars referencing it.

In such a manner I could have a single tool from a specific plugin / extension next to a specific tool from another, and so on and so forth... I can name these toolbars however I like and arrange the tools in any way I please.

Does this make sense? Is this do-able?
