numerobis's post made me sick
I hope I could speak better english to share my aversion, but I'm too weak ...
I don't understand how a man can watch an execution video and then see a watermelon exploded by an AK47 to compare the two reactions ... and then how can he decently say "i'm really no expert, but ..." ???
sick, sick, sick ...
Thank you to those who have managed to remain calm and respectful.
Please, please, please, if you're "really no expert", please, just shut your *** ...

The 'message' that I get is that extremism of all kinds must be rooted out and confronted with the real world. What is the real world? Well basically the world has a finite amount of the things we need and unless we want to fight each other all the time we have to learn that most fundamental lesson of childhood, sharing.
I even spotted a Buddhist monk saying that the slaughter of local Muslims was justified as SOME Muslims had killed SOME Buddhists. As a 'Trekkie' I really do not care what other people do in peace, it is the bovine around some power and influence crazed people getting others to kill for their INTERPRETATION of a faith or belief system.
Perhaps I am the dinosaur.
I just found a post in this very section of the forum and if there is anything to do for a faith this is it. This linked clip shows what any faith should bring us, joy.

It's really sad that this thread had to be brought back to life again...
What a tragedy Paris has been facing once again...
My thoughts and prayers goes to the families and friends who lost their beloved in yesterdays attacks...

To our french friends here on at the forum: you should know that our thoughts are with you.

There'll be more terrorist strikes, sadly. And there'll be more animosity towards muslims, and refugees, too. The European right is going to have a field day.
Europe needs to clean this mess up. Which means: military action in Syria and Iraq -bombings, boots on the ground, the lot. We need to act swiftly and ruthlessly. (Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer peace -but I don't believe in turning the other cheek.)
That being said, violence won't solve anything in the long run. Syria, Iraq ... will have to be rebuilt, in more than one way. That'll cost time, money and patience. It is possible, though. Think of post-war Japan, and Germany.
And then there's the situation in Western Europe itself. We have to ask ourselves why so many youths of a muslim background turn to radicalism. Why is there so much unemployment amongst the ranks of young muslims? Why are so little of them getting a degree? And why is it we seem to be getting used to mutual racism and hatred?
Also, the Israeli-Palestinian thing needs to be sorted. There'll be no peace in the Middle-East as long as that sore keeps festering. If need be, we'll have to twist some arms, here and there.
There's something seriously wrong, and we need to fix it. We can fix it.

You mean like this https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/B23E0762A61177286026620809216_3035c05cf80.1.5.8175564427571340698.mp4?versionId=HsegzhG2LMV8T9WLgyDH_0Z9mIBFkaVI
The murders in Paris was of course tragedy for innocent people who has nothing to do with the scenario behind it, but it was and will be much bigger tragedy for 1000s of innocent people from "terrorist countries" when NATO "twist their arms". But it seems that they are not people for "civilized world". What a hypocrisy. All the people are made equal, aren't they? It is the same as the famous German rule in WW2: 100 innocent civilian Serbs killed for 1 German solder. "The war against terror" is just an excuse for doing terror. Good people, do not be fooled. Let the devil do it's job without your applause...
If you want to "fix" something, don't do it by bombing some far away country you know nothing about. Begin with what is closer to you - with your own mind for a start. One simple thing is enough - do you think that people all over the World have right to live? And to live their own way? Or you think you are so special and far more superior so they have to live your way? Sounds familiar?
Looking at the numbers this is the real terror-"The USA has terrorised all these countries since WW2, killing over 30 million civilians in the process:

Has anyone read the ISIS document they posted when taking responsibility for what happened in paris?
In a nutshell what they are saying is they are counting on the reaction to these terror attacks to incite the bigots into a knee jerk reaction, they are intending for us to turn against all muslims which in essence will just make it even worse. Now is not a time to be divided, it is a time to be united.

Yeah ... that's part of their 'end of days' ideology.
I'm hoping this thing won't make the EU even less forthcoming with regards to helping out refugees.

Wow srx, you are clinical case. Are posting it for free?Than there is more clinical cases in the World than you doctors! I guess they are afraid to say it here because of the public opinion on their mental health status.. It was not Obama's plot. How it could be? He is a peace Nobel prize winner! Don't you see he is just another bad actor in the role of the President? It is so obvious...Maybe Terminator would be better...But, do you really think that killing all these people all around the World in the name of "democracy" was the right thing to do? I know it was not the act of people, but their rulers , but people also had something from it. American dream...French dream, UK dream. They were based on many innocent dead in those countries. NATO based dream. People were bought with fancy stuff. Look at the Libya alone. People lived nicely there, better than in the west, but they had resources you needed to boost western economy. So you destroyed them. It is a known fact. And produced pain and suffering you do not care about! Killing and torturing their ruler was nice TV show for you (at least Hilary). And that is the root of this evil. It returns like boomerang ...
So, I agree with Solo. Do not act like they want you too, like angry mob. It will only make things worst. Fighting terrorism was never against any religion, or sovereign countries (Syria in present). There is no such thing as terrorist country. Ordinary people of every nation just wants to live normal life, like you do. If you really want to fight ISIS help Syria people do that, but not before asking them to! Don't you think it is fair thing to do? Even if you don't, it is written in UN documents...
The other thing is who created Frankestein monster called ISIS, and how are they so organized to pass trough Europe security systems? I hope there will be some investigating on this.
...Maybe you didn't know, but people from Crime voted 96% for joining Russia! It was expected because they were part of Russia for much longer time than not. It is the same people detached by wrong politics in Soviet era.

I presented the facts. You are mentioning conspiracy theory. It is meant to always do that when you can not face the facts. It is what the term was made for in the first place. Crazy conspiracy theory paranoid is the universal answer to all problem questions. Easy to accept. "Crazy paranoid tovarish" I think you spent all the Hollywood terms...

Odd. I cannot remember 'destroying' anyone. Nor do I recall enjoying torture porn. You're pointing the finger at us, civilians. I find that utterly insulting. I don't hold you personally responsible for the Sarajevo siege, now do I? So, please, knock it off.
Moving on ...
This is bad:
Growing number of US states seek to block acceptance of Syrian refugees
At least 15 states voice opposition to refugeesâ resettlement but Democrat Bernie Sanders warns that the US must ânot succumb to Islamophobiaâ
the Guardian (www.theguardian.com)
And then there's this. "Percentage of positive tweets on IS". Belgium (oh, glorious Fatherland!) is ranked third. Yikes!

It is not a secret, nor a conspiracy theory - http://www.globalresearch.ca/libya-from-africas-richest-state-under-gaddafi-to-failed-state-after-nato-intervention/5408740
...I did not mean to insult anybody (I did not called you crazy paranoid). I just wont to inform you from a different angle. That's what's good in internet.Regarding Sarajevo, don't mention something you now nothing about. I was young then, but I remember many refugees coming from Bosnia to Serbian (it was never the other way). It was a civil war between Serbs of different religions, where EU and USA promoted war, involving from the beginning (using evil from the both sides, arming and paying) helping muslims banish orthodox Serbs (once multicultural Sarajevo is now muslim only) and making Bosnia its protectorate on which territory there are training camps for "islamic" terrorists fighting with ISIS. I would not be surprised if some of them played role in the recent attacks. The similar story goes to middle east and ISIS, or Libya in a way. It is good to know.
