Aidan Chopra and Scott Lininger launch Bitsbox
-
Hi All,
I've just received a headsup from Aidan Chopra telling me all about his and Scott Lininger's new startup, Bitsbox.
Aidan and Scott have created a system for teaching young children to code. They use an online code editor for writing mobile apps, plus a monthly physical subscription box full of activities that is delivered to kids.
The excitement of presents in the mail each month will keep the kids tuned in and encourage them to get to grips with coding. Hey! I might even try Bitsbox out myself as I haven't a clue about coding and am often told that I am 'a big kid'
The guys are launching a Kickstarter campaign on December 8th to get backers and momentum for the venture.
You can check out the site here, https://bitsbox.com/ And if anyone has questions, Aidan and Scott are happy to answer here.

In north Ontario we are pretty stern. We force our children to go outside.

BITSBOX has been launched on KickStarter a few days ago and has already surpassed the target pledge of $45K and looks to be heading towards $90K end result.

Just a note, one the highlights of going to Basecamp was attending any presentation that involved Aidan. He will be missed.
Wishing the both of you much success.
