Hello all- Thought I'd share latest project. A computer desk I made for myself. Wanted minimal and modern rather than lots of storage...
made from cherry and Paldao (a beautiful Asian hardwood) that has a live edge. Nice I think. Thanks for looking, Michael

Very nice work, Michael. I'd like to do something like that but the top would have to be 12 feet long because I pile so much stuff on my desk.

What is the use of the little "empty cylinder" on the middle of the board? For inkpot?

That is funny, but it's really a hole to rout the cords from my keyboard and mouse. (Yes, my keyboard and mouse actually still have cords. I'm a barbarian, I know...)

The term is "Luddite". Barbarian makes it sound like you have hairy knuckles.
