LumenRT 2015 SU 2015 ready

Looks a lot like Lumion... ~~What's the price like?~~ $795 for last version.

Not sure on price yet, this is still in beta. Hopefully they will allow me to give more details soon like all the content, more teasers etc.

The one thing that I really like about LRT4 (current version) is the ability to give a client a live cube that he can navigate himself with full GI and lighting and not edit/break a thing

Is it all real time now, or do you still have to "bake" lighting from SU?
Also I wonder what the price will be. Probably too high for me...

Pixero, the lighting you are seeing in the videos is 100% real-time. There is still the option to bake the lighting for even better quality.
In terms of pricing, if you get LumenRT 4 today with maintenance, you will get LumenRT 2015 free.

What is the price for a upgrade to version 5?

Also, does it work now with PlantFactory so we can import our own trees?

Plant Factory announced they're going allow more freedom in export between their software. i would assume this would cover Lumen.

I was wrong about that price. to get LumenRT4 with maintenance is $995 and to get live cube is another $1100... I wonder if they just paid Lumion to sell their software? Surely not...

If you are seriously considering upgrading to the 2015 version, you should renew your maintenance subscription (if not too late); you get any new software versions and/or updates for free that come out during your maintenance subscription. Maintenance is $199, which is a lot cheaper than buying an upgrade.

It would be great if PlantFactory items could be imported into LumenRT; at the eon software forums, they've mentioned they are working on it, but have been noncommittal in regards to this next release.

That would be awesome as I get calls for plants that are not available in the standard library like just a few days ago i needed plants for a home in new Mexico and had to run around hunting for them, if Plant factory was integrated it would be as simple as finding one in the extensive library or creating it yourself, that way it will blow in the wind as needed.

Oh, I would also need to buy plant factory as i doubt my PLE will work.

I'm in a similar boat. Most of the plants offered in the standard library do not work for East Tennessee. And it seems most render app libraries always fall short on shrubs.
