      It's frickin awesome, John!

Do you know which parts are historic, and which parts are later-day addition? That flat-roofed second story piece on the right looks like it was an addition; it lacks the detailing of the rest of the house.

        Thank you Elmer & Cotty.
Mike I think the next stage is those magical fire starting fairies!

Daniel, It's all historical and original, although like almost all buildings the focus was on the front facade as you can see in the detailing at the rear, even though Lord Furness was the 6th richest person in the world at the time.
The "flat roof" section needs the roof light details adding as you can see in the pictures.

She must have been impressive in her prime.

Great modeling and project! Thanks for the photos. So you broke in? The skylights and light wells are interesting. Some areas still look pretty good.

Would one say this architecture was "looking back", even for 1893? One thing, given the wealthy Owner and the usual British approach to these estates, it appears to demonstrate great restraint.

Although it predates Edward VII's reign by 7 years, it looks like an example of Edwardian architecture. This was probably one of many houses, hence the "modest" size for an English Lord and shipping magnate.

Not sure if it's just me, but I can't see any renders in either Firefox or IE. The photographs appear fine, though?

I saw the SU model shots earlier, but looks like they are missing from the first post... Would love to see more of this amazing model.

Sorry I should have explained the reason for the posts edit at the time.
I had to remove the images until a dispute over them being commercial/personal renderings is resolved, regardless the images will be re-posted tomorrow. Once again my apologies.
