Pocket Park
-
The ground itself as basic topology. Note the rise in the middle.
Details to come.
-
Dammit, I'm losing momentum on this.
-
To me mate it's all looking a bit heavy.
-
But keep going, it is looking interesting.
-
PC problems (fixed) and now I need a new mouse. While the mouse works, it is having jitter issues. Have tried all fixes. It comes down to I will have to replace the mouse.
-
Mouse problem fixed enough to continue.
-
Path layout. There will also be a foot bridge over the pond.
-
Still not much to look at. I'm also liking the monochrome style.
-
Waiting for you to populate it, has a very Japanese garden feel.
-
Getting there. Vegetation, benches and trash cans next.
-
Inside view.
-
Vegetation next.
-
Inside view again, without vegetation.

Hi, Bryan:
Looking really good. I am still watching.
I like the waterfall wall idea. May create the illusion that the adjacent building is melting -
It's dead. The foliage has made the model too large and I can no longer work with it.
Any suggestions?
-
The only suggestion that immediately came to mind was possibly using face me type foliage components set up for predetermined scenes.
I assume you have "purged unused", and so forth? -
Coming along nicely. I would try some face me plants. The shadows and all the monochrome is a eerie mix. I would look at scenes without shadowss--or blend shadows in lightly or in Post pro.
-
Found a low poly tree in warehouse. More vegetation to add.

I assume you have "purged unused", and so forth?Yes. Purge is part of everyday workflow now.
I wanted to use 3D foliage in order to stay with the monochrome style. Faceme plants doesn't work with textures turned off.
Or does it?
But I did find the people in faceme. Maybe I can find some monochrome faceme plants as well.
Hmmm.
