Hi all. Just saw free NOX render engine that you may test it over C4d, Max and Blender. I personally gave it a test over Blender and it is clear and simple to learn. some ready to use materials also are delivering with it ( about 60) and has lots of feauters i.e displacement support too
ps: sample renders are from the gallery of NOX

Indeed a great tool, almost unbelievable it's free... what I've always particularly liked is how it manages the lens effects, as DOF blurring and others, damn realistic. Too bad it doesn't work with sketchup 😞

πŸ˜• as I remember from earlier versions, although called "stand-alone" the scene can be exported only with a plugin for 3ds max and Blender.
I am wrong? Perhaps something changed in last update? Does anyone use it currently with SU?

Seems it's working in standalone only if you save s Nox format file.

Best is to use it inside Blender if you want stay "free" program πŸ˜‰

So export your Skp file as dae or Obj format inside Blender
